JerezHoy 2020
Jerez sin Frontera

Say "Buenos dias" to our latest theme release, Revista! This theme is a right choice if you are looking for a clean and functional design with lots of options for easy layout customization. You can choose from more than 22 backgrounds, three different wrapper options, a squared and a rounded layout and much more. Overall it provides a really versatile design which fits for any news, magazine or company website. You can use this theme with Joomla or WordPress and it is based on the Warp6 theme framework which uses modern web technologies like HTML5 markup, CSS3 features and jQuery based JavaScripts.
Further the Revista theme also includes fully customized styles for the Widgetkit Slideshow, Gallery and Slideset. Also the new Widgetkit 1.0.1 release comes with some candy enhancements! The slideshow and gallery widget got a new effect called "swipe", don't hesitate to try it out. We also fine tuned the lighbox widget for this release... It's now autoresponsive! Your images will now always fit to the screen - don't worry about the dimensions of a client device anymore. Another great addition to the lightbox is the possibility to show widgets. Lazy load a widget in the lightbox by just linking to a widget-id. This creates new usability possibilities, you should consider when you start your next web project.
This new theme features the latest Warp framework version 6.1 adding full Joomla 2.5 support which was released on 24. January. We also updated all our 31 previous Warp 6 and 5.5 themes to support the new Joomla version.
The introduction of our new support system has proven to be a great asset in helping people seeking answers to their questions. Today we want to share some thoughts on how it could be even better.
In case you have a question there are two possibilities: If you have a membership or account issue, please send us an email. In any other case - be it a technical issue, a bug report or a general question - the support section on our website is the way to go! With regards to the use of that support tool we came up with a short guideline for you.
One question - some answers - one accepted answer. That is our idea of the perfect support dialogue. We replaced the old forum because important information tends to get lost in lengthy discussion threads. Help us create the perfect knowledge collection!
Do not be afraid to edit your questions and answers if you have something to add or something to be corrected. In that way information stays in one place instead of being split amongst several answers.
If you have something to add to your question - it still belongs to the question and should not be posted as an answer. We often search for questions without any answers and if you post further information as answers to your own question it may slip through the cracks.
If someone edits a question or an answer all people involved will be notified by mail. No need to add a new answer.
If you agree with someone's post, vote it up instead of writing "me too" or "+1". These kind of comments are no real answers. If you stick to voting instead of commenting, the conversation will be more relevant on the website. We prioritize and help questions with many votes faster! If you post answers like “+1” instead of voting it has the opposite effect: We may think that there are already a lot of useful answers to the question.
Also don't forget to vote useful answers up!
Very often it's easier for us to fix a problem if we've got it right in front of our eyes. In case you don't want your current development URL to be visible to the public or there is credential login data involved, simply use the "hidden information" field right below your question. All information in there will be visible to our support team only.
Your problem has been solved? Perfect! Now just accept the right answer so others with the same problem can benefit. Not to forget, accepting an answer is your way of giving credit to the person that helped you. It will motivate him to help you next time again.
As simple as it sounds: If you have more than one problem, ask multiple questions, instead of putting a whole bunch of questions into one question. If your question only focuses on one issue at the time it is more likely that your question will be voted up by someone with the same issue. This will get you help faster!
Please add tags to all your questions. By doing that you provide important information that helps us to understand your issue and allows us to respond as quickly as possible. Note that "General Question" is the one tag you should only use if it is not a technical question about Zoo, Widgetkit or the themes at all.
Please check our support system's help guide for more details. We also provide an extensive documentation that already describes and solves most common issues.
Following these steps will help us and others to help you.
With our new company pages we want you to meet the YOOtheme team and the support crew. Check it out to put faces behind the products and services we offer. But there is a lot more information to be found here.
We have come a long way since our start in 2007. Ride the train along all the important places we have been too in the past couple of years on our history page. YOOtheme has always taken pride in its participation at conferences and other fun events. The Events & Press page gives you a reference about that. Last but not least - We are hiring again! Today we are very proud to release Widgetkit 1.0, finally! We kept Widgetkit in BETA status for a long time now. This was because we wanted to wait till our website relaunch to provide a great Widgetkit product site with examples and a comprehensive documentation.
And here we go! Visit the Widgetkit product pages:
Yes, that's right! There is a free Widgetkit version. It includes the following widgets: Lightbox, Spotlight, Twitter, Media Player and Slideshow. But only the default style is available in the Slideshow widget.
To get the full Widgetkit including all Slideshow styles, the Gallery, the Slideset, the Map and the Accordion widget, we introduce two new independent Widgetkit memberships:
The Widgetkit memberships also include both: Widgetkit for Joomla and for WordPress.
Nothing changed here! Widgetkit is included in all our theme memberships :-) So if you have an active membership you get Widgetkit for the system you are using (Joomla or WordPress). Have fun!
We added a bunch of awesome features with the latest Widgetkit version:
And of course we also fixed all known bugs.
Take Widgetkit for a spin and give us some feedback :-)
Welcome Balance our first 2012 theme release! This nice and clean theme design is really versatile and can be used for any business, sports or medical related wesbsite. Further the design makes use of unique 3D style look for the menubar, modules and as Widgetkit Slideshow style. It also includes 9 style variations and 9 background images which can be combined in many different ways for you own custom look. In this latest Warp 6.1 framework based theme we make use of modern web technologies like HTML5 markup, CSS3 features and jQuery based JavaScripts.
Since we launched YOOtheme back in 2007 we've used our website design for almost 5 years now. We thought it's time for a change and this summer we started to work on our new website. After months of careful research, planning and development we are delighted to present you our new website today. As you can see everything has changed from the design, navigation, downloads, documentation to the support system. As you will also notice everything has improved and become much easier as well. Also all product pages have been redesigned to give you a better understanding of what we offer and what to expect from our products. This blog post will shed some light on the new features, content and the many new things to explore.
Each product site for our themes, Widgetkit, ZOO and the icons has a newly structured download section which lets you find exactly the download you are looking for. Overall we wanted to improve the whole download experience. Everything is now in one place like the download links and version numbers and is easy to access. You can even browse the download section when you are not logged in.
We've also reworked the user account experience. It does not only look much better but also offers quite useful new functionality. A new account modules welcomes you to our website. We use the Gravatar service for your account picture. It is integrated in our whole website: blog comments, support system and account area. Once you are logged in you also have access to our new support system. No double login anymore!
Our new blog keeps you up to date, just like the old one. But there are some goodies to explore. You can now filter blog posts by tags, giving you the news you care about. We've also implemented our own commenting system which is a lot faster than the old one.
We put a lot of effort in our new documentation. It is completely rewritten and restructured for our latest products Warp 6 and Widgetkit. Further our new documentation is available at Github. So if you have any suggestion or improvement you would like to share just send us a pull request.
The old forum has served us well, but it is time to move forward and trade it in for something entirely new! It is a Answer/Question based support system inspired by Stackoverflow. We put a lot of effort into the development of this new support system. An ajax powered search feature helps you to find the right answers to your questions easier and faster than before. A dashboard gives you a nice overview about all the hot topics. Questions and answers can be voted up and down to prioritize them. This helps to ensure good questions and answers come first. You can also accept a correct answer and it will automatically show up first, so everyone else who is searching for that answer will find it right away. We've also added a nice leaderboard which lists the most active members and you can click on the profile page where we provide a lot of nice statistics. The new search system is open to the public so every one can see what's going on and who is the most active contributor. We'll keep a read-only version of the old forums around for a while, until the new system has proven itself.
That's not all, expect a few updates within the next weeks and months. We also have some nice surprises prepared!
What do you think about our new site? We appreciate any feedback on how we can improve it more. If you find any bugs please don't hesitate to tell us so we can fix them :-)
The Warp theme framework 6.0 is out for a while now and we're really happy with it! But we also had some new ideas for additional features and improvements. Now we are proud to announce the next milestone our Warp 6.1 release. Let's have a closer look at it...
In our support forums we noticed there are many common issues due to the webserver configuration or an unsupported PHP version. Thats why we built in a system check which automatically runs a few tests to quickly find issues on your installation. So if you experiencing any problems with your theme? Just open your theme settings and take a look at the system check. It will provide you with useful information about wrong file permissions or missing PHP extensions. In Joomla the system check even tries to recognize possible problems with multiple jQuery instances in your installed extensions.
A great new feature are the new social buttons for articles. Just enable them in your theme settings and your visitors are able to share your website content on Twitter and Google+. So be a part of todays social web!
We also optimized the development of custom styles and module layouts. No more hassle with XML files if you want to extend your template with your custom style or module layout. Just create your style/module layout and they are detected automatically. Just go to the theme settings and you'll see your created styles and module layouts, ready for assignment.
Warp 6.1 now also supports more system specific features like the pass through of module class suffixes for Joomla 1.5 and 1.7 and the HTML overrides for com_newsfeed, com_weblinks and com_contact in 1.7. For WordPress we've added the support for post thumbnails and improved compatibility with popular WordPress plugins.
Currently only our new Catalyst theme is running on Warp 6.1 but we will update all Warp6 themes to 6.1 in the next weeks. We hope you'll enjoy the current release as much as we do!
Update: All Warp 6 themes are updated to Warp 6.1.
